11 Months Old

Tyler Patrick you are 11 months old today!

What are you up to these days?

• Your Weight  21 lbs 12 oz
• Clothing size 12 months and starting a few 18 months

• You are eating A LOT of table food, anytime anyone in you presence eats...you think you are suppose to eat as well, and up to this point you have liked everything we have put in your mouth. It is kind of nice to have a child that eats whatever you give him, since your brother still won't eat good. We still give you some baby food as well but you definately prefer table food. You are using a sippy cup very well now and really like sweet tea (I say that but really I make decaf tea with splenda and thats what you actually drink...)
• You now have 8 teeth, 4 on top and 4 on bottom
• Your sleeping habits are slightly improving, we have gotten a few nights now of you sleeping all night this month and if you do wake up its normally just once briefly for a bottle.
• You are still crawling fast and pulling up on everything, walking as long as you are holding on with both hands but not really otherwise
• The only real first I think you have had this month is your first four-wheeler ride and you love it!
• You are really at a fun age, we love playing with you in the floor and getting you to give us kisses...you can make that kissing sound with your mouth but you don't actually give us kisses yet.
• You are really starting to talk alot more you say... momma, dadda, bite, bye, hi, and I think thats about it, the thing you say most requently is dadda for sure!

Horses, Barns, and My Boys

We have been riding horses as you can see and my dining room table has been converted into a barn complete with blankets for walls.

Thomas is teaching Tyler to brush and take care of his horses he said.

Never too young for a ride...

I have found the perfect way to make a fussy baby boy happy! And his momma likes it too!

Summer Projects

Here  are a few pics from summer projects Thomas and Grandaddy have had going on...

My little First Grader...

Thomas woke up this morning and the first thing he said was "Mom, I am excited, I think I am gonna like my class" He already knew 12 or 13 kids who were in his class.

Tyler had to get a little brother lovin' before school too!

This picture cracks me up, Tyler looks like he is screaming which would be his norm but he is actually just yawning!

When we got to school Thomas didn't even want me to walk him in. He said bye mom, and hopped right out of the car, and never looked back! This time last year I had to come home and cry bc my baby was starting school but this year I was pretty happy myself. I am very thankful he likes school so much!

My friend Kelli who teaches at his school took this pic for me of Thomas at his desk this morning, I thought that was very thoughtful of her! And it put a smile on my face for sure!

Clearing a Trail...

We have spent our Saturday at Grandmom and Grandaddy's on the hill behind the house doing a very important project for Thomas...Clearing a trail for 4-wheeling adventures!

I told Thomas I thought it was very impressive he had convinced both his grandfathers and his daddy to join in on this project...which was complete with tractors and chainsaws!

For some reason projects with this crew tend to be overdone! This little 4-wheeler trail is now wide enough for the tractor and or 4-wheel drive truck to go through!

I lost count on how many trees were cut for this project but I have been assured that I won't be running out of firewood for my fireplace this winter!

 

I even joined in for a few minutes so Thomas could show me his progress and take me for a ride...I do better providing cold drinks and taking pictures on projects like this though...

This is one proud boy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grandmom, Tyler, and I cooked lunch for the crew and stayed cool for most of this adventure! But Tyler kept a close eye on them out the window...It won't be long before he will be right there with them.
