Beach Trip...Day 4...Our Final Day

During our poolside breakfast this morning the boys enjoyed their beverage of choice...Chocolate Milk

Today we also got to play with our friend Jillian, both boys were very happy to see her

Thomas continues to love jumping in the ocean and gets braver each day...
Grayson is warming up to the ocean big time now...

Right before dark Thomas and I took one last walk on the beach and it was too tempting not to climb up in the life guard stand for a couple of pics. Thomas thought the view from up there was great!

We have had a wonderful trip and are very thankful for the time we got to spend with our boys and with great friends!

Beach Trip...Day 3

Dinner went much better tonight. Not hardly a quiet peaceful dinner but we are back on the right track. There was a lampshade in the middle of the table however that ended up being worn as a hat. Thomas explained to us it was their "cooker hat"

Good thing the folks at Rossi's, where we dined tonight had a good sense of humor. By the way the food was delicious. Even Thomas ate good and enjoyed it!

Day 2 of our trip

"Life is good at the Beach"Lots of going underwater today for Thomas, this is the first day he has really been going under on purpose. He has mastered holding his breath under water today.
Grayson does a countdown as he jumps into Mommies arms...

When the music from the Ice Cream Truck is heard in the background, Thomas thinks he must have a Spongebob popsicle. He remembers this from last year and couldn't wait to get another!

The expression on Emily's face tells it all...Dinner was a disaster. We went to my favorite place, The Sea Captains House, our mouths were watering for some of our favorite seafood and we were all dressed up, in hopes of getting some good pics after dinner on the dunes outside the restaurant...our children obviously had different plans...Our little angels turned into little devils, Both had to be escorted away from the table on multiple occasions to visit the restroom for serious talks and major spankings...Nothing was helping, they were fussy, irritable, and we had all we could take before our food ever got to the table so we politely asked for to-go boxes and checks as soon as the food came.

Conveniently as soon as we got in the car, they were fine again but our nerves were shot so we opted to take them to the pool let them play till they dropped and put them in bed with cartoons and a snack. We are keeping our fingers crossed that there will not be a repeat performance of our dinner experience.

We had Dinner at Joe's Crab Shack then we shopped and entertained the boys at Barefoot Landing...

Check out this huge inflatable slide, you climb up through webbed ropes on the left then slide down on the right...I couldn't believe Thomas wanted to try it, my only concern was, "who is going to climb up there and get him down when he freaks out" the lady running it assured me I wouldn't have to that she would go get him...so I let him give it a shot. He loved it and went all the way to the top like a little monkey, slid down, and said "lets do it again!"

After all that excitement we had to sit down & rest with icecream of course!
