Fall Celebration at Day Care

Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend the day with Thomas at Pre-School and participate in their fall celebration. This is a day I always look forward to. And each year it just gets better and better, if that's even possible!

They started the day with worship time as they do every day. Ms. Stephanie, the director, leads this part of the day. They start with praise and worship music which they all sing along to. Its the most precious thing ever to hear those sweet little voices singing about Jesus. She reads from the bible and shares verses and stories with them. They talk about prayer requests and what they are thankful for and have the opportunity to share whats on their hearts. The kids are very engaged and love this time. I was so thankful to be able to share in this wonderful part of the day with them.

They also recite the pledge to the Bible and the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

Their was a bouncy house which was very popular!

How many Pumpkins tall are you??

Everytime I think about Thomas' pre-school I am overcome with joy. I just don't have the words to express how thankful I am for the center and for the amazing teachers.

Pottery Barn doesn't have anything on us...

Thomas & I did one more project yesterday. We went on a little scavenger hunt through the yard for some acorns and leaves. Then we filled the bottom of the hurricane glass with the acorns, hot glued some leaves all the way around our candle, added a little raffia bow...and check it out!! Our own little handmade and cheap fall decoration. Most importantly Thomas loved doing it.

This is a pic of my boys from this weekend...We rode to the top of the mountain to look at leaves and got a few pics! Just had to share!

What a beautiful day...

Thomas & I enjoyed a beautiful day together today. We played in the yard for hours.

Then we came inside to do a little of our traditional Halloween goody making...

And you've seen our dipped pretzels before...but at Halloween we call them "Magic Wands"we made these for Thomas' party at pre-school tomorrow!

Well we didn't make it to the pumpkin patch..but I did let Thomas pick out some pumpkins to carve for Halloween.

Shopping for Wedding Dresses

This past weekend Kim asked her Mom, Jill, and I to go Wedding Dress Shopping with her.

She tried on lots of beautiful dresses

and they all looked great on her...

and a dress for her Matron on Honor... me :)

We had a great day together and Kim did buy a gorgeous dress. We didn't buy any of the dresses that you see though...I am not allowed to post those till after the wedding of course. But if you think these dresses look great on her just wait till you see "The Dress" !!!!
