What a great day in the Sun!

Thomas and I made a run to Walmart this morning for a new Kiddie Pool and we also grabbed a new CD. We spent the day in the sun listening to The Zac Brown Band and splashing water on each other. I think we would both agree it was a great day...plus good ole mom finally got some sun!! And Thomas now knows all the words to "Chicken Fried" not sure if thats a good thing or not but we sure have enjoyed ourselves.

You're Never Too Young for A Fishing Lesson!

Grandaddy, Daddy, and Thomas have been on the lake all afternoon. And as soon as they pulled in the driveway from an exciting evening of fishing Thomas got out of the truck saying..."What a day, what a day, what a day momma!!!"

And let me just just tell you the "Fishing Tales" have already started!!

He was so excited to show me what he caught... I had to climb up and look in the live well.

Not sure who was more excited??? Grandaddy or Thomas??

Spin City...

Our good friend Will celebrated his 11th Birthday this weekend at the Roller Skating Rink. It was the first time Thomas has ever been on roller skates and he loved it...He loved the skating, the pizza, the cake, the icecream, he is 4 going on 14 :)

Easter Egg Hunt at Day Care

It was a beautiful spring day and fortunately I was off from work today and able to spend the morning at School with Thomas for his Easter "Eggs"tra Special Celebration. The dyed easter eggs, had an egg hunt, did games and special activities all day long.

Finally starting to feel better...

Thomas has been home sick with the flu this week. I think he is finally starting to feel a little better...He is just like his Daddy always goofing around. Check him out wearing my hair turban this morning before he took a bath! And here I am no make-up and all...Oh well!

Playing Store...

The past couple of days Thomas has been playing store in the evenings. He uses his little cash register that has a little scanner on it to ring up everything he can find in the house and then he uses all my used grocery bags to bag everything up. He makes me come shop at his store over and over. He was even using our kitchen chairs as a shopping cart. Had to put a stop to that though he was scratching the floor. We even made play money and fake credit cards for his store. His imagination is running wild! He is at such a fun age.

Dinner at Dixie Stampede

We took our first trip to Dixie Stampede Friday night. Thomas loved the show. He didn't take his eyes off the show. He told us his favorite part were the little horses racing (miniature ponies) and the pig races. His favorite part of the meal was the corn on the cob. Which was basically all he ate because he was way to busy watching to eat...

Thomas desperately wanted to ride and pet the horses but that wasn't allowed.

The soup bowl was much more fun on his head than to eat with :)

Thomas played all 18 holes this time! He is growing up so fast.
It was such nice weather this weekend...I think we all have Spring Fever!
